I'm heading way for 6 days in a few weeks and this will be the longest i've ever left my fish! What would you recommend in terms of "holiday food for my now 4 goldfish while i'm away?

Your goldies will do fine without any feeding over the 6 days. In the few days before you go, cut back slowly on the amount you feed and do a 50% water change the day before you go. You can add some elodea as a snack while you are away but be careful of introducing any snails etc.
