I'm not happy with the river pebbles that I bought for my tank and I've been looking around for some more. I found these two...would they be ok in my tank?

I got some very similar to the 2nd ones you linked. I got them from Petco and I want to say I paid around $25 for 25 lbs.. So if you have a Petco around you might want to check them out. It looks like it'd cost you half as much.

Some members have gotten river rock from places like Home Depot or Lowe's in the landscaping dept. I think it's even less expensive there.

Thanks fantailfan1! I don't have a Petco near me, but I'm going to Petsmart this weekend and will check there.

Lowe's is where I bought the ones I have now that I don't like. They're not polished or smooth. They are irregular shapes with some sharp edges and I'm just afraid to put them in the tank. I didn't really notice it until I got them home. I'm afraid my fish will get hurt if I put them in.

My Petsmart didn't have anything that large (3/4-1"). They had smaller river rock but I was afraid my fish would be able to get those in it's mouth. (I was switching from gravel to river rock because of a fear of my fish choking on the gravel.)
