peas out of a tin or just fresh peas? what else can you feed them?

Try to vary their diet.
Boiled frozen peas (deshelled and cooled down), other veges softened in water, sinking pellets, live foods, flakes......the list goes on.
Have a look in the "Goldfish Food" section of this forum and you can read what others feed their fish. You can also make up a home made batch of gel food which they LOVE!!

Peas from a tin generally contain a fair amount of salt, which is used in the processing. This is not really the best for the fish.
Frozen peas or fresh peas are better.

The only reason why I dont feed the canned pease is because of the high salt content in average cans. Be your own judge when reading the labels.
