Well, what kind of human food do u mean? Some veggies are good for goldies, but not all. Peas, lettuce, broccoli, green beans, zucchini & cucumber are just some of the commonly used veggie. Tofu is also ok (but dunno how to prepare )

hiya... how do you prepare these veggies? e.g Peas?
Do you just feed this at meal time or do you also put goldfish food in aswell if you use the peas/veggies? I have four goldfish two large and 2 small.
Thanks Ash x

I have purchased frozen peas and thawed just a few at a time for mine. I squish them slightly to remove the skin and give the two halves. Mine love them. I have not fed any other veggies to my goldies... I have given my veiled chameleon different fruits and veggies tho.

Hi, when feeding peas its a good idea to just give peas that day as it gives their digestive systems a good clear. I tend to fast them one day a week and then feed the peas the day after. Alos if you have had various veg for dinner just pop some tiny peices in for them. A fav for my boys is oranges, satsumas ect. Just pinch back the skin and feed them the insides.

if you are feeding peas some goldies will need them chopped into smaller portions- I divide each pea into 8 or 9 bits.
I also hang parboiled shredded cabbage leaves in the tank- my three strip a large leaf in two days.
