I have a 30 gallon tank.
My plan is to cycle it with whiteclouds.
Then i plan to buy 2 small red cap oranda's.
My question is ;
are Red caps going to eat the whiteclouds?

If they get big enough, yes

I have little danios in with my goldies and the goldies have never tried to eat them (even though they are big enough to!)

Goldfish would not have a chance in hell catching one of them zebra danios

Well I have whiteclouds with my big and small fancy goldies and they never tried to eat them. Although I do believe comets or commons would once they get big. I also have long finned danios in with my fancy goldies and like the others said they would never catch them!

Sarah, in a tank that large don't worry about it. These two species will be fine together, WC minnows are much too fast to be caught by your Goldfish.
