hi all
im new to all this so please understand if i sound a bit silly,i just been given a tank with fish etc etc from my father in laws daughter (she hasnt got time for it anymore) sad.gif anyway its in my hands now biggrin.gif i think the tank is 37 litres (uk).my question is how many fish should be in there, ive measured the fish and the total length of the fish is 13 inches from head to base of the tail that is 4 fish total,is it time to upgrade cos i dont want them to suffer if theres not enough room for them. thanks oh yes this is a great site well done to all involved biggrin.gif

13 inches for 4 fish, that means each is 3-4 inches, and a 37 litre tank just won't cut it.
What kind of fish are they? Single-tailed comets/commons or double-tailed fancies?
If they're single-tailed, then u gonna need at least 200 litres. If they're double-tailed, then u gonna need 150 litres.

Here's a link to get u started:

I think the current tank is great for a hospital tank.

U are most likely has 2 commons, 1 fantail, and one shubunkin (any pics would help greatly). Make sure u get at least a 200 litre tank for them, and a good filter or two.
