Hey there,

I plan on putting the leopared pleco and cory cat in the 40g with gf, however, someone ate the little neons!!!!!

I looked everywhere around my bucket (filtered and w/airstone) but could not find the neons anywhere, and the pleco seem bigger every day blink.gif

Do plecos get aggressive toward smaller fish or do cory cats?

Thanks!

I couldnt imagine corys attacking anything.. you say they were all in a bucket? neons are quite sensitive maybe they got stressed and died and the plec had a meal?

unsure.gif Lucy's correct on the fact that Neon's are really sensitive when it comes to certain things.I know that when I kept them years ago,I went through quite a few before I actually had enough live to call it "Schooling"-meaning a big enough group of them.
Some Pleco's do get aggressive, but it's more when fish are sleeping/ill,etc.
There are a few Pleco's that seem to come up when you look into Leopard Pleco's.From the ones that I've read about ,it sounds like they get almost as big as commons.
As for the Cory, well he wouldn't hurt a flea, unless the fish was allready dead.

It's possible they could have died and became dinner.

They were both doing great throughout the evening, turned off the light, went to bed and then there was one.

Next night, then there were none !

Thanks guys!
