~ Hey ~ I need some places to sell my fish becuase i want to sell them so i can have the right equipment, which is what i will use the money for and then once that is done then i will get new fish and not too man or not ones that will breed easy!

Why don't you try posting them on craigslist. That way you can sell them (still probably for about 1/2 the price they sell them at your LFS) to people locally.

my lfs will not take them off my hands except for maybe a few and then they will be put up for adoption for any amount that the person wants to give!

Here's another idea, but I'm not sure if it will work. Ask the manager of the LFS if it would be okay to post a flyer near the fish for sale explaning the situation and having them for sale, with your phone number and stuff. Agree to give them the money you receive from adopting them out. People are likely to buy your fish because of the situation and the manager won't have to worry about infecting his tanks etc. With the agreement of giving the store the money you won't be competing with the LFS, unlike just posting a flyer in the store. If you did that it would just be torn down.

This is what a lot of animal shelters will do if they do not have room or money to take in an animal but don't want to say no. They will advertise or let you advertise the animal and be in charge etc but the shelter gets the money.

i also posted them on craigs list and i have had no replys yet but am still waiting! I do not want to do that becuase i am wanting the money to upgrade my tank and buy a test kit!

you may have to do that, the money you will get for them wont be much towards the test kit anyway..

i am going to make posters and then i will ask my petstore becuase if nothing else then i have someone at church that can take some of them!
