I just thought some of you might like to see this guy. Starting bid is $100. I wonder how much he'll go for. No one has bid yet, I assume everyone is waiting till the auction is close to ending.

From what I understand true purple bettas are really rare.

How beautiful is he?! Do you think anyone will bid?

Is he really purple? He is a beauty but I'm not sure about the colouration. Even my bettas change colours when photographed.

I wondered the same thing about his color being true. I know sometimes copper bettas can look purple when photographed. Hopefully most the betta's on Aquabid are photographed without flash so you can see their true colors.

There was a HM betta last week that sold for $245 if I remember right. I forgot what he looked like.

$ 245! for a betta! wow he must have been the Cadillac of bettas! If the color is true on that purple betta that is amazing! I have never seen a purple betta only lavendar.
