I have a Q's about fancy..All fancy goldfish r chubby fat..So..Since they r fat and chubby how do i tell if a chubby goldfish is a male or female...Will I could tell if it's a male or female by looking at there butt..but..I been having this lionhead and..he/she..also like to go under 4 of my other fancy goldfish butt and push it up and down and bitting and chasing them..but..If My lion head is a male why is he so fat like he have egg in his stomach??

Well, u can't really tell the sex of fancies based on the body alone, except usually females will have the right side of her belly slightly bigger when seen from above.

Lionheads whether female or male, are fat. Best methods are see whether the fish got tubercles or not (having tubercles will be most likely male), anal vent is outie or innie (outie means female, innie means male), the size of the first ray of pectoral fins (male will have a much thicker first ray) and then the behaviour.

Sexing is a complicated thing, and requires a long time to get the hang of it. I'm still an ultra beginner
