Hello again!!! as mentioned before... i just special ordered an "apple snail"... i have been looking around online and from what it sounds like, i think i have ordered a Pomacea canaliculata. The store I go to usually has several of these snails in their tanks and they are usually quite large... But I was wondering how big can they get? I have a 60 gallon tank so, this snail is going to have quite a bit of room to grow... Any thoughts?

Congrtas to you on getting a new Snail. Cana's aren't the largest growing Apple Snail,but pretty darn close for sure. They have the capabilities of getting close to the size of a Tennis Ball. There's a pic or two of my Chewy floating around old snail threads if you get a chance-although the old girl has continued to grow since those pics were taken.

Devs, i think i found the picture of your snail... is this it? its beautiful! it looks exactly like the ones they have at the store i ordered mine from!!! i hope mine arrives and is like yours! absolutely awesome... i think i will name it goliath...
