One of my female guppies had fry September 2005. I've raised all 9 of them with no problems. But now that they are older it seems everyone has problems with eachother. All of my male guppies chase and nip eachother, another one of my males harasses all the females, I have a runt that can't be with the bigger ones yet he is still 1-2mm in length and I need to seperate the males and females. So I feel like I need 5 tanks to seperate all of them

Anyone else have these problems with their guppies ?

Mine get along pretty well. My males definatly harass my females but I rarely see them actually mate... they mostly just try and court the females None of my males nip at each other. When I kept fancy guppies, I only had one or two males and they never bothered each other.

I used to have a very aggressive female at one time and she always tried to beat up both the male and other females in with her. I haven't had any problems with aggressive guppies since though.
