Ah HA! your found something that needs to be fixed! THank you!

Sorry about that.
Yup - plain old frozen peas are great. I looooove peas, personally. Whenever I cook up a batch, I thow in a few extra. These need to be shelled - I pinch 'em and pop the two little pieces of pea out of the shell - and then just drop them in the tank and watch the fishes go crazy! If you have really little fish, you can pinch them into smaller pieces - or cut them.
I like to hang spinach leaves from a clip on the side of the tank - they love to tear and shred pieces of leave off and eat them. It seems to be great fun for them. Chopped pieces of all kinds of fresh food are so much fun - and a varied diet is extremely healthy. I have a section of my garden, in the summer, where I grow fresh food for the fish- spinach, dandylion, all types of lettuces, etc. REmember - with the greens - the darker has more vitamins and good nutrition than the whiter stuff....
A good staple pellet will go a long way in goldfish keeping. I am never without ProGold from Goldfish Connection, Spirilana Flakes (I like Goldfish Connections for they hold together well), shrimp pellets, and seafood salad. I like Hikari pellets as well as a few other misc. brands. My cupboard has a colletion of things. Any or all of these can also be tossed into your gel food mixture to fill it out, also!

IT really makes feeding the goldies tons of fun.
