I don't know why but I'm losing my fry at a rate of around 3 a day. I can't figure out what is killing them. The water is clean and I've been trying to vacuum the tank's bottom the best I can. I did notice that some of the fry seem to be having touble swimming, they can't stay at the surface, they just keep sinking.
I did get my microworm culture and I have noticed that the fry seem to be having trouble eating them, like they can't figure out how. The fry have been free swimming for a week now so they should be big enough to tackle mircoworms. I'm still feeding strained Hakari First Bites which they are eating fine.
There is a sponge filter in the tank and a heater which is keeping the water between 80-82 degrees.
Any ideas?

Something is killing them fast. Since my first post a few more have died. I'm not sure I can save them. I've caught as many as I could and put them in fresh water in another small tank. It seems to be affecting their swimming, it's like their weighted down and can't get to the surface, they struggle and struggle and then die.

I think it may be my tap water. The other day I did a water change in my males tank and last night I noticed Pisces looking rather dull. He's got to be around 2 years old so I thought maybe his "time" is getting close. This morning I fed everyone and they all seemed fine well I just went to check on the fry and Caviar is lying on his side on the bottom of the tank and Pisces is as well. Both their fins are all clammped shut, they look horrible. All four males share a divided tank so I quickly separated them all into jars. Luckily I had some bottled water so I used that and added a little Melafix just incase it's a bug or something. Siam and Fillet look fine so far.
The females are fine. They haven't had a water change within the last few days. So only the fry and males are sick and their the ones who have had new water introduced into their tanks within the last week. So I wonder if somethings in the water that the conditioner isn't removing well enough.

I am sorry to hear you're having these troubles!!
Water quality is very important. Do you know what your water parameters are?
And what kind of water conditioner are you using?

What size tank are your girls in? Do you have a net breeder type thing? If you do or can get one you could put your fry in that in the girl's tank so they would have some decent water till you can figure out what is going on.
