Can I hatch brine shrimp eggs and feed to grown up goldfish?
Will they eat it or ignore it? krazy.gif

They'll love it!! But u gotta grow the brine shrimp until they're adults, not babies only.

I've been thinking about that to. How long does it take for brine shrimp to grow up? Are they easy to keep? I'd really like to try giving my fish live food and I think brine shrimp would be the easiest thing for me to get.

I've read somewhere that it takes about a week for brine shrimp to mature. Gotta go check again....got a bookmark about it somewhere....

but i've read that they are the most nutritious exactly when hatched.

when days go and it grows up by it gets less and less nutritious... blink.gif

Yes but when they're just hatched they're way too small for adult goldies to make a meal out of them smile.gif

How long does it take brine shrimp to hatch? Perhaps sometime I'll hatch some right before I go home for the weekend and feed some to my fry. They're about a month and a half old now and a couple are guppy size according to my mom, I haven't seen them in two weeks though.
