u don't mind me answering this other thread of yours, do you?
recommended filter size is 10x the volume of the tank, or if the filter can handle the bio-load.
goldfish doesn't need a heater, it can with stand a wide range of temperature as long as it's constant/doesn't fluctuate rapidly, although reportedly some of the fancier kinds such as bubble-eyes & celestials like warmer temps.

Cheers
Im going to play my dumb blonde card! (no offence to anyone)
When I look at filters they all say suitable for xxx gallons
So do I look for one that suitable for 10 gallons or something more?
Iv seen one for 10 gallons and one for 15gallon
I was leaning more towards the 15 gallons because iv goldfish are messy!
P.s d_golem does your fishy have name?its really cute!

No, don't go for the "recommended" tank volume in the box. Look for the turnover rate (10x tank volume is ideal). Your tank is 10-12 gallon so it's about 50 litre, so find a filter that pumps at least 500 litre/hour.
PS: my fish hasn't got a name yet

as does my other fishies
