Hey everyone..I see that some poeple on here feed there goldfish algae waffles??what r those??And How can i make them or where can i buy them???What is good about algae waffles for goldfish..Thanks...

Ricky, you should be able to find algae wafers (or sometimes called algae discs) in any pet store. They sell them mostly for catfish, plecos and such.
They are good because they are mostly made of vegetable matters like spirulina, which is basically "solid algae". The initial wafer/disc can be a bit hard, but after soaking or breaking in smaller pieces they are great for fish. Easily digestable and great for their intestines, as they aid in swim bladder troubles and floaty issues a lot of times.

ooooohhh..ic..so..goldfish can eat them also??so..those algaes waffer is mint to be feed to GF...How do i feed them and..when do i feed them??or should i feed them ruegely like there other goldfish food??

If you have very small goldfish, its best to crumble them into smaller pieces. Some of those wafers are either very big (for a goldfish anyway) or a bit hard, so making them smaller doesn't hurt. Some need soaking even to soften them up somewhat.
You can feed them as part of their diet a couple of times a week... smile.gif
