Does anyone know how to grow microworms without a starter culture? I've looked on the web and I haven't found anything, only how to start them from an existing culture. Microworms just didn't appear out of thin air so I'd think there is a way. I hate buying stuff online so I was trying to avoid it if possible.

Thanks

Well first you have a daddy microworm and a mummy microworm, and then they get together and... well... ohmy.gif

Actually... maybe they're asexual, but the thing is you need to start with at least one microworm. Do you know where any are?

Maybe an aquarium owning friend has some?

The cultures are cheap and you can keep them chugging along, fairly easily for years.

Infusoria you can culture out of used fish water with a bit of plant matter.
