If you can pay for shipping then why cant you just go out to the store and pay around $15 for a small filter or test kit?

becuase around here my stores are kind of expensive

Chain stores like Petsmart and Petco etc. are all about the same price as it would be here or there.

If you do a little finger shopping you can find everything you need online usually much cheaper than local prices. Ebay, discount stores mentioned on the board, aquarium supply, etc. Good luck

If you go to petco.com or petsmart.com, find what you're looking for...print it out and bring it to the store. Compare the price at the store. More often than not, the online price will be cheaper. The store will honor the online price, and you don't have to pay for shipping!

You most likely will not find a better deal on ebay. Belive me, I have looked. Print that page out and take it into Petsmart, they will match that $13.49 sale price for you. That is DIRT CHEAP:)

Hey Dean,if you're able to shop on line,you can check out Test Kit--------------------They have alot of great prices and shipping isn't bad at all.Definately get the Kit at Petsmart though if you can get it for $13.49,you don't see those kind of prices normally,and then you don't have to worry about shipping. Big Al's prices are great for Meds/Filter's etc...Good luck!

Petsmart is the only store who will honor their online prices. But hmmm...if petco honors competitor's prices and petsmart honor's their online prices, and petsmart is a competitor which petco must honor..........I wonder how that would work out?

Petco did it for me but that was only because Petsmart was out of stock. Do you have someone that can just order it online for you and then you pay them back?

no becuase we do not order online becuase of fraud and things like that!

just a thought... if you are getting $60 for your birthday, i think the FIRST thing you need is a test kit.. additional tanks and fish can wait, but the water testing kit cannot.

even if you do get another tank and additional fish, they will most likely get sick easily if you have no means of testing the quality of their water.

i think perhaps your priorities are not taking into account the health of your fish.
