I went to the lfs and wanted to buy 2 female german rams for my male, but they did not have any left. Did not want to leave empty handed so I bought 3 rasboros since I only had 2 left and 6 glowlight tetras. The glowlights are neat looking. The tank was looking empty. Lost some fish when tank broke in the summer and lost a few more when I had to move fish to plastic bin for installation of rug in living room. Now I just have to find the german rams and I will be happy.

I will get a pic of the rams when I get them. No I don't feel any better, but I forced myself to go out today. Still stayed for awhile at the store looking around. Here is a pic of the male ram named Romeo.

proud of me for what!

your very mature realization that while rams are wonderful fish, it wouldn't be a wise decision to own any at this point in time. that shows real growth as well as an ability to realize what would be best for the fish (the ones you own now and any potential new pets)
