I just wanted something to help clean my tank. I thought snails would be neat. So on ebay i bought Trumpet snails They haven't arrived yet. Oh lordy what should

I don't know what you should do but I'm thinking of getting a few myself. Theres a lfs near me that has a major infestation and they practically give them away (only 5 cents each ) I think once I get my tank cycled and ready for goldies I might go get some.

I would have probably asked that question before buying the snails! Nichole,if you want to buy some-buy one,maybe two/ I started with 4 and have about 100 or more.

Oh dear! I don't know what you can do! Maybe your LFS might take them? You're about to become a mummy...over and over and over!!

i got one about 6 months ago.. but shes only had about 5 babies, and 3 grandchildren... i want more! they are in my tropical, where the substrate is sand.. i need mooore! unless i do have more and dont see any more than 8 or 9 at a time..

hello! i was given a few (trumpet) snails by a pet store who wanted to get rid of them last year... i quickly found out why. they took over my 30 gallon so quickly!!! when i upgraded to my 60 gallon i very carefully inspected and scrubbed each rock to remove all the snail clutches... thank GOD a year later, i have gotten my tank down to only having a few snails, which oddly enough call my filter home... good luck!!!

So tell us Jeana....did the snails arrive? Are they ok? Have they mutiplied?!!
