post-4056-1113060347.gif That's a good start!
I hope your family will come around soon to your hobby - sometimes it takes a little time. I fsee you being serious and responsible about it - they may start to be more supportive and even enjoy the fish, too! biggrin.gif

smile.gif Well hey Dean,I'm glad things are going better.Graham's right too.Sometimes kid's get interested in all sorts of things-the parents spend a small fortune only to realize that their children lost interest,so I can understand them in a way. The more involved and serious about fish you are,the more your parents will realize that this is no passing interest. The test kits are really a must,so try and work on that.Maybe you can do chores around the house/Run errands for someone etc.,so you can save some money. The gravel vac is definately a good start.Get yourself in the habit of doing a weekly water change and cleaning until you can get the kits.Maybe run to the LFS in between to kind of keep an eye on your params. Keep researching/and enjoy your fish too. exactly.gif biggrin.gif

They understand more when you buy your own stuff, like Devs said. But I can relate to your situation. exactly.gif biggrin.gif
