I'm going on a six day trip. Could my goldies fast...or is this too long?

They can easily survive 6 days without food.

it depends on how big they are, not if they are small fish. I would say 2-3 days max if they are under 3 inches. If they are full grown, the maybe 6 days, but I wouldnt do it.

I've got a 5 inch common and every year i leave him on his own for 14 days, no one to look after him what i do is put a one week food block in his tank knowing that this will keep him going for the first week of my holidays, and the last week i know he can last. but i do give him a treat of blood worm when i get back home

I bought one of those three day feeding blocks. The pet store only had them for tropical fish, but I'm sure my goldies will sustain off of it, and they can probably handle a three day fast.
