~ Hey ~ We went to nnnnnn in Chesterfield, MO and there was dead fish everywhere! It was horrible becuase they were just lettin the snails eat the dead bodies!

~ This is said ! The petsmart cleans out their dead fish every day if not more than once a day! They are very good at stuff like that!

I would ask to see the manager at the other shop and tell them that you found it disturbing to see the dead fish in their tanks. Also, you could ask if they train their staff about proper fish care ... I mean they are in the business of selling to the public, so they should answer to the public

They should really check their tanks every hour for dead fish

My *fish store name* near me had a tank with a whole lot of goldfish in it I mean alot and
They were all at the top like it was time to eat or somthin an when you looked at the bottom it was covered with dead fish!!!
The tank was seprate from all the little tanks and was
I would say was a 20 gallon!
the tank was dirty and there was no filter or nothin!!!!

That's sad. I think the big pet stores differ so much from store to store because of the workers and unfortunately even if you try to help them they won't listen because they're the professionals and you're just someone trying to make them work harder. I've only been to one petco and I don't think I saw any dead fish in the tanks and they all looked healthy and happy. Hopefully you can talk to the manager or something and voice your concerns.

M'kay, careful with bashing petstores you guys. Although neglect of fish in stores is very common, its not appropriate to post a thread saying that the store was like that because Koko can get in trouble that way. Besides, all walmarts are not bad, and that counts for all chain stores. Each one is run differently.
