When I go full marine with my gsp can I put live rock in the tank and have some soft type of coral or ananomes(sorry about spelling) Can you give me some ideas, don't want to put anything in tank that would hurt puffer. This won't be for awhile but need some ideas so i can plan it out.

live rock yes you want this, but dont think a anemone or soft corals would be a good idea,
there's a good chance gsp would eat corals and a good chance the anemone would eat the gsp

ok that is just great, wanted them in the tank. Guess not. So forget it I will leave tank as is. I don't think just live rock would look good.

I have just live rock in my tank but have also added a lot of macroalgae (seaweed!) and it looks a lot better. I have a predatory starfish so I cant have corals or anemones, either. I think with all the greenery the tank looks more natural. Plus a lot of times the little snails and things will live in there, and those can be healthy snacks for your puff to munch on.
