My bubbies is sick again and i am stumped!! OK the tank peramiters are in range for my tank....Its a new tank has been set up for about 4 weeks. the ammonia and Nitrates were a little higher then normal but i had a fish die in the tank. But not high enough to be bad!!
He seems like he is crazy he lays at the bottom of the tan...he struggles to swim to the top to get air and when a fish swims by him he flipps out and he pushes his face into an ornament and rubs in the stettles back down...but he is just not right...he is normally perfect and he loves food and swimming with his buddies..today he didn"t want to eat...i added some prime to help the ammonia.
his tank mates seem fine. they are all normaL
please help i don"t want him to die!!! He is my oldest and most favorite fish!!!

Sorry, can't remember - how big was the tank again, and how many more fish are in it? Maybe a little bit info from the top of the page would help us along in getting the bigger picture of those guys again...
Are there any visible signs of any illness on him?

OOO DUHH i AM sooo sorry!! He is in a 55 gal tank with 4 other tank mates, 1 oranda, a common, a black moor, and a ryukin. (all little guys right now) bubbies is a bubble eyed goldfish and he is the biggest!

I wanted to add at first i thought he was constapated becasue this happens alot!! He gets bloated and will sit at the bottom or he will float at the top upside down. But this time is weird becasue he just seems soo stressed and sooo weak and he won't eat!! and he is a pig we used to call him hoover becases he"d eat everythiang in site plus after he picks at thr rocks for hours looking for more.. but now he just lays there then he flips out and rubs his face on the ornaments like he is trying ato hide undera them abut he can't!! I am just soo worried!!

If he is scratching like that, he may have a parasite. Hopefully someone comes along that can help you more.
