I have been looking at them laately, and at my Walmmart (near Seattle, WA) they are %159. They come with tank, fhood, filter, net, food, sample of dechlorintator, I think a heater and a thermomete5r. That is all i can remember.
One thing that seems to vary from Walmart to Walmart (from reading many posts ion this board and elsewhere) is the type and quality of the filter that comes with it. The ones I looked at had Aqua-tec 30-60 filters, that only filtered 330 gph (not enough for goldies in a 55), but some people have said they found the same set up with nicer Penguin filters. It seems that the Aqua-tec filters are made by Marineland but do not have the Bio-wheels in them. You could always use the one that comes with and then buy a second filter for the tank. I would definitely price the tank only with a quality filter and make sure you can't do better somewhere else first, you never know!

I bought the exact walmart 55 gallon tank right after xmas last year. I looked around for a long time, and it came out to be the best deal. It comes with the tank, hood and lights, fish food, net, samples, filter, heater, and i think a few other small items.... the filter isnt the greatest, i wouldnt use it alone with goldfish, i use the one it came with and also bought another filter for mine, so i have both running. The tank has done great for me. The only thing is, i decided to do a planted tank, and had to go out and buy a new hood (i spent more on this hood then i did for the walmart starter kit and the stand! LMAO) but if you dont plan on doing live plants, the hood should be fine. I bought mine for $150. It really was the best buy i could find anywhere.

I just bought one of those today from Wal-mart. It was about $178. Which is cheap. Even getting a Penguin 350 as a second filter which here cost an outragous amount ($65).
I have had luck with Peguin Filters. I also like the biowheel that they come with. I would suggest that as a second filter.

www.petsmart.com has the Penguin 350 for $26.99 plus shipping, pretty good deal, you may be able to find an even better deal online somewhere else. Also, sometimes if you bring online ad5 from the petsmart.com into the stpre they will give you the same deal.
I am going to get that filter for my aquarium, hopefully next week! :-)

I've also seen those tanks there...and it was an awesome deal, but at the time I had FINALLY*not really but I had just ended a relationship, was depressed and needed something to fill the void and all my tanks were overstocked* had enough money to buy a tank and stand (I had 2 of the penguin 330's on my 20 gals) I found a 60gal tank with lights and the hood at Petsmart for about $120,

Since I had the filters, and didn't see a need for a heater, I went with the petsmart one. I dont know if they have that sale going on or not tho...
(rambling story, but its still good)
I was going to wait on teh stand for a week, so I'd have my other paycheck...but I was so excited to see it up and running that I called a friend to see if he wanted to go to wal-mart at 2am, LOL and we bought the stand for roughly 80$ and spent teh next 2 hours trying to put it together cuz the instructions werent the greatest, and I drove him home at about 430am, and proceeded to fill the tank one 5 gal bucket at a time LOL I was VERY determined...I got it all done at around 7am
