Just wondering if it's ok to feed your GF only flakes?

If not, what could be the long term affects...

Thanks!
JenW
Apart from being boring? biggrin.gif

You can mix it up by feeding them fresh fruit and vegies also for example, spinach, cucumber, orange (peeled of all the skin and white bits), banana, and so many more - also you could feed brine shrimp, blood worm, daphnia - just to name a few.

A mixed diet will give them all sorts of wonderful vitamins and nutrients that flake food is lacking in.

Hope this helps biggrin.gif

flake foob only will bore ur fish, and the flake foob don't have all the needed nutrition ur fish need. I agree with jenw, feed ur fish a variety of foob and they'll thank u for it biggrin.gif

PS: don't forget to soak ur flake foob, and sorry for all the "foob"s laugh.gif just teasing u

Your fishies will love some occasional fresh fruits and veggies! You can also get some pellet food too as a variety.

I am a nut job - I have 4 different jars of fish food that I switch off on so he never gets the same thing two days in a row!
