Princess will have hers taken this week.
I removed the eggs to day into a 2 gal Eclipse tank that I bought today. I used water from the main tank, cut the leaves off of my plants that had the eggs on it, kepts the water level low, and using the light to keep it heated.

i think it was TD's guppies that showed him, I guess 2 years of having the tank next to his got his attention.....Or the fact that Princess is a young Black Oranda, I guess she smelled good to him....

Oh man!! How have I missed this thread???
While the pictures are alittle dark, I can see them with my heart.
I know you probably have a long line of people wanting them but if by chance there is a small one not spoken for..............consider him/her a native Michigander.
Really that is awesome!! I hope they all survive!!! Man those are going to be some great looking fish. I don't know if I have seen mom, can you post a pic?
koko
Nov 8 2005, 06:00 PM

What a couple Pharoh & Princess is!

pity there are only 6 fries though
Ranchugirl
Nov 8 2005, 06:37 PM
They hatched already?

Boy, that was fast! And so exciting!!

Now, remember, no food until they are swimming freely - otherwise it just spoils the water, they don't eat until they swim around.
So, so happy!!
