My crayfish was attacked and riped to shreds....she is still alive. (its posted on this thread)

Someone please tell me how to put he out of her misery!

I want to know if I can freeze her.

One person from another group mentioned boiling (which I did not think was funny). And someone else mentioned the garbage disposal, which is even worse.

Please someone help. I feel so horrible.

I am so sorry this happen to your crayfish. It sounds horrible. I definitely don't want to sound mean. Please don't take this as a joke, I'm just trying to help. You could smash her. I know it sounds horrible, and I would have trouble doing that. It would be a quick way to put her down. I hope you find a good way to send your little friend on.

Well, I posted on the other thread that she was not moving....I put her in the freezer just in case...I will bury her when the bag is frozen.

I am so sorry for your loss, that has to be tough not knowing what to do and not wanting them to suffer anymore..

I'm so sorry Gia!!! I know its hard loosing a pet. You did the best you could, sorry I wasn't more helpful. I can't squish a roach either.

Sorry you got some really bad advice from the other forum and its not something that ive ever needed to address. You did what you thought was right for her in the end and it must have been really upsetting for you as they are real characters.
I dont know what i would have done either given the same situation but maybe clove oil would have done the job as well, but im sure she had died before you put her in the freezer.

Well, Im in a crayfish group in yahoo! and I told them what happened. THey are really great adn the owner of the group offered to mail me TWO crayfish, a male and a female, when we move and get settled! Yay! OMG and in my other goldfish group this lady told me she breeds snails and wants to send me some of hers too! I dont think I have meet a bunch of nicer people than these fish hobbiests. So Ill be getting a large yellow snail, I forget what they are called but its the kind that eats plants. And some purple and blue apple snails. By the time I get to TX she says they should be hatched and old enough to send out to me! Yay! New crays and snalies! Ill post pics when I get them
