I am sooo bad.

I was at petco and they had this huuuge tank full of huuuuge strawberry hermits.

I got the smallest one but he is still MASSIVE. I am in dire need of big shells now.

Does anybody possibly have large shells with an opening of...1.5 inches wide and about the same tall that I could buy?

Congrats on your new Strawberry. I'm afraid that you don't see shells really big at most Pet Stores.You may have to check out somewhere like e-Bay,or look into Mail Order Hermie Crab Co.'s,or Co.'s that sell shells. I'm not saying it's impossible here,I'm just saying that it may take a little work. Do you have other Hermit Crabs,or have you kept them before?

Or u might look at craft stores or home decor stores. they might have some big shells. i got some for mine from a gift shop

Devs: I have two other hermits right now, but they are TINY compared to this monster. He just lumbers around the cage, getting stuck.

d_golem: I guess I do need to hit more craft stores, as mom refuses to let me shop online...one petstore around here does have shells that big I think, but they are like $10 for a pair which is outrageous.

This little guy is a tank! He just buldozes the entire tank, and doesnt seem to sleep!

He looooves peanut butter. We got in a tug-o-war over the toothpick, and he was trying to steal it and stuff his face at the same time.

My strawberry's doing fine, and it looks like all strawberries are immensely strong and likes to turn things over. Ugh mine turned over the water dish and spilling salt water all over the gravel

Andy is he still unamed? You should name him Tonka!!!!!!! Like the toy trucks/bulldozers etc.
