When I went to the fish section to get pellets for Cracker I looked at the snails (since they actually had some) and saw a cute little snail. I put them on a styrofoam plate (no paper) and gave them some lettuce to munch on.







I was comparing the size of the two. The new snail is less than an inch long and Gary is almost an inch and a half long.



No clue as to male or female. I'll tell everyone when it gets more comfortable with me holding it. It's shell is a little flaky when it dries. I noticed when they were eating. What do you think would be some good names for it? Names don't need to be gender-specific for my new snailie.

There was a site that said how to. I can't remember who gave me the link to the site or what the site was. It's when they "come out" of their shells. What the inside of their shell above their head looks like. The site is WAY more helpful.
