So I got a free sample of TetraMin tropical flakes with my new tank, and while reading the ingredients it seems that it's basically TetraFin goldfish flakes plus more protein and fat.
I then did some research and found that all brands of tropical vs goldfish flakes are pretty much the same but the tropical version seems to contain more nutrients and sometimes better ingredients... No wonder tropica flakesl is more expensive.
So I guess my question is, does anyone know if it's safe to feed tropical flakes to goldfish? Could it actually be advantageous to do so?

Well,

I feed my goldies a lot of different pellets and tend to agree that vitamin enhanced ones seem to be better. I don't think it really matters that much if they are tropical/cold. I suppose marine/freshwater feeds shouldn't be mixed though.
