Nitrates are waste products of bio bugs...if there are enough can they possible kill the bugs? I cycled fishlessly and added WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much fish food, and have been adding more to keep the bugs alive without water changes. Is it possible?

Thats an interesting question.
I would imagine that the nitrates would have to be reeeeeeeeeally high, but I have no clue.

Does anyone know this? I'm thinking it would be impossible to test unless you had a digital tester.
