Koko's is a forum that was set up with the intent of allowing fish lovers to have a place to share ideas and to get help on fishkeeping. The intent of the forum was not as a place to sell fish or promote one's own business. The Buy, Sell and Trade section was set up as a courtesy to members in good standing, who have contributed a minimum of 200 posts to Koko's. Buy, Sell and Trade wasn't set up as a place for people in the business of selling fish or products to market their fish or products. There are plenty of websites expressly for that purpose. Rather, it was intended as a place for Koko's members to buy, sell and trade their own merchandise or fish from their private collections.

Koko's does not allow the marketing of products or fish on this forum by business owners. If Koko's were to allow that kind of marketing, then it would look as though Koko's is giving it's approval to the person marketing the fish or products and it could be construed that Koko's recommends that person as a reputable seller. It is beyond the scope of this forum to recommend or disapprove of various business owners.

As a result, posts selling fish or products will be deleted unless they are posted in the Buy, Sell or Trade section of the forum by a member in good standing with a minimum of 200 posts.

If in the future a business wished to post at Koko's, it is welcome to contact Koko with a business website address, listing fish and products for sale. At Koko's disgression, sites like this are occasionally posted for all who would like to find a seller.

Further more, after meeting all the requirements, a post stating commercial business, somewhat like a commercial should be all that is necessary and allowed. If further dialogue is needed to finalize a sale, it can be done outside of the forum.
