Hillstream loaches grow to 3-4 inches.
I was wondering if anyone has a picture of an adult hillstream loach.

I've only ever seen baby hillstream loaches in pet stores (about 1 inch)

I would really like to see an adult one.

Does anyone have an adult or a large hillstream loach

I have three and the largest is about 2 3/4 - 3" in length. Here is a picture of one of them.

Yes, they are very pretty. I love the red stripe on the dorsal fin smile.gif

BTW, mine have become very tame now and they come out and eat the Progold pellets with the goldfish laugh.gif

my hillstream is still a little shy - he comes out now and again (when its dark).
But he is more tame than 1month ago.

Sharon,
You may have looked at these web pages before, but if you click on the gastromyzon and pseudogastromyzon listings you will see pictures of the different varieties of hillstream loaches. They are so beautiful!

The loach I have is a Pseudogastromyzon cheni.

This is a great page with articles about hillstream loaches
