I tried my own recipe for gel food and it didnt work out! I want to know what i did wrong, all the ingrediences fell to the bottom and so there was a layer of just gelitin on some bit of the food. Why did this happen if you have any ideas please tell me!

You have to add the gelatin while it is all in the blender, and blend it more... till it is a thick paste like substance.......
then pour it into the pan and shake it gently to get the air out.
It should stay solid then stick in freezer right away.

Can you tell us the recipe you followed, and the steps you took?
Did you cook the gelatin first??
