I was wondering if Paradise fish are compatible with goldfish.
they are coldwater and they are labyrinth fish !!
paradise fish = coldwater betta !!!!!

I was told not to, because they are fast swimmers and like to nip fins. Slower fancies may get a bit frayed around the edges. Nice fish though.

they can be aggressive and shouldnt be kept with slow moving fishes.
Not sure i would class them as coldwter fish, dont they need an average temp of 23C / early 70's F ?? goldfish can take much much lower temps than that..... just my thought....

depends on the species of paradise fish,
there are 1 type of cold, the blue paradise fish-blue with red stripes, can also be found in all blue and all red , as well as albino.
tempurature range is 60 - 72, temporarily go down to 50 degrees
2 cool water types, black paradise fish, and chinese paradise fish
temp range 68-72
2 tropical species, spike tail paradise fish, and day paradise fish
temp 75 degrees
most of these fish can be very aggressive, although it is said that both the day, and spike tail are a little more compatable with other fish.
