I just bought an Anacharis plant at Petsmart and it had some snails on it that i picked off and fed to my fish. I want to disinfect it before i put it in the tank to kill any bacteria or snail eggs. All i have in my house is bathroom cleaner that contains bleach...could I use this in a 1/19 mix or will the other chemicals in the cleaner possibly hurt my plant or fish???

I wouldnt use it. What kind of cleaner is it? I would just stick with regular bleach, not something just contains it, because the other chems. could possible kill the plant, and possibly the fish as well.

I agree...was reading in another tread about PP that disenfects the tank

You can buy "snail be gone" and there are others at the fish store, it works great. It works fast too.
