Sounds good to me! It is about double the amount of plants I have seen advetised at other places for that price - as tank size purchase... But, I am useless with plants - but I shope around alot! I'd go for it - mostly b/c I would need all the back-up!

LOL, ive done pretty good with my plants. At first, I killed a few LOL but ive been experimenting with a planted tank for some time now, and my plants are doing awsome, i get little baby sprouts all the time, but i mainly have amazon swords in there, so I want some contrast in there, and its just the same old junk around here. Petsmart doesnt have good looking plants, and all three petcos usually have some good ones, but mainly the amazon swords.
I think im gonna go for it. I sent a messege to the guy to see if he gaurantee's them (if some die during shipping) and he says he does. Its worth a shot, i'll be getting alot more out of it then if i tried to buy 55 dollars worth somewhere around here. Im worried about the snails though. It says it comes with 4 snails, and all my snails always ate my plants... wont they???

Toss the snails into the pond at the park!
Maybe you could ask if he would substitute something else for the snails?
THere was a thread here somewhere about desnailing new plants...

Well I will quarantine the plants to kill any baby snails on the plants, but part of the package is 4 snails, seems odd, as most snails would eat the plants. Maybe I can just ask him to just leave them out, i wont worry about bothering him with substituting anything for them.

I dont think those snails eat plants, the only real plant eaters I know of are canas and insularums. Rams, brigs, nerites, trumpet snails, and all those types generally just eat dead and dying leaves, keeping everything spick and span.
You could always put them in a bucket with a plant for a few days and see if they bother it.

My first snail was a ram, and he destroyed ALL of my plants in a matter of a few days. It was awful. I also had some yellow apple snails LOL and they ate the plants as well. I guess I can see how they do, but most likely I'll give them to someone else.

*coughs* You can always send them down my way if you need to get rid of them.
I think your apple snails were canas. Plant vaccumes. But a ram? Odd.

LOL, yep my ram destroyed my plants! LOL, i tried keeping him in there as long as I could, but when i went out and spent $40 on plants, and he ate most of them, i had enough. I ended up giving him to my mom (he passed away tho, but i still have his hollow shell). LOL... and yes, the canas WERE definantly plant vacuums! LOL...
