Hello all 8)

I have enharated 30 white clouds from my mother. She passed away a month ago Dont get me started...

they are in a well cycled 10 gal tank. I luckly had room on my lower part of the stand which has a 20 gal on top. I have two comets in the top tank. They are in a window so the alge grows. I dont mind this much because I have plenty of small snails from the white cloud tank to add to the goldie tank ( as long as I can keep the goldies from eatting them).

My question is that most of the females are big bellied but have never laid eggs (well maybe they do but I never see fry). The males are fun to watch when they challange eachother. I dont want babies really but would like to know if it is healthy for the females to be egg bound but never lay them. There is a nice mixture of potted plants and some anacharis which I put the over growth in the goldie tank.

First off sorry about your mum ((hugs))

The minnows spawn every couple of weeks so dont worry about them. Keep the water around 24 or 25c. They eat the young anyway so no need to worry.
