Alright then folks we can hold our very own for fun tropical competition.

All you have to do is add 1 photo of a tropical fish or a plec. I will then hold a poll where people can vote and depending on the amount of pics it might be in heats.
The only rule is, it must be your fish.
Get posting people!!

I think we need deadlines.

Pics to be here by sunday the 25th. Then the heat(s) will run for 10 days and then the final.

i dont think it will sway the votes that much if this is done and any way there is no medels or any thing going to be given so it does not matter that much any way and i am show we are all grown up anuff to pick the pic that is the best not the person

I dont think either it matters that people know you submitted it as Kim has said, the vote is annonymous, but you can still say if you want to which one you liked.

I think that it's been decided to throw a poll up and let people vote.I was just thinking that hopefully we don't have just ourselvevs voting for ourselves We could all end up in a tie for first place! Now that would be funny!

i bet if you do it in heats that would eliminate the prob of everyone voting for themselves. then just take the pics w/ the highest votes from each heat to vote in a final. that is ofcourse if there's enough pics to do that.

Good idea about the heats will see though how many people enter. I think goldfish man put something in the discussion forum.

Thanks. Yeah it's my favourite fish in the tropical tank... I have another angel as well. It's a zebra. They really are a pleasure to watch, but can be very aggressive and bossy.

Okay here are my only tropicals, Ruby and Rummert the black neon tetras.


Careful, they think they are pirahnas!! They are hand fed and attack fingers...they are willing to jump a few inches out of water for a tasty finger

I wish this competition was a month later, I'm going to get more tetras and a few cories soon. Will there be another competition in the future? (not right away of course) I'll see if I can dig up a couple more pics later.
