My tank has been getting more cloudy lately :/ I'm not sure why-I's fully cycled.I just bought a new filter too exactly.gif I didnt have enough gph and its gotten even more cloudier.It never used to do this sad.gif
And how much bakign soda should I put in my 55 gallon?The P.H is to low.Thanks

Sorry-The edit box dissapeared.It used to pretty much be crystal clear and now is pretty cloudy

I'd add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, predissolve in tank water and add slowly to a high water flow area. Let it disperse well and then check pH again. Repeat till you see pH move up about .4. Follow the same process daily till you get pH up in the mid to high 7s.

I add 1& 1/4 Teaspoon of baking soda after every water change to keep ph at 7.4. I have a 55 gal. also and change 40-50% of the water once a week.

Well,I havnt used baking soda yet because I used Correct P.H before I read this post so it's around 6.6 now.i'm going to wait a while before I put the baking soda in.And I was just thinking,could alot of salt make water cloudy? happy.gif

I've never seen salt cloud the water.
