I am quite new to both Aquarium and your Fourm. My Country is somewhat hot. The following questions relate to Tropical Ornamental Freshwater Gold Fish.

I would like to breed Gold Fish in a SMALL Tank. Then, what is the quantity to be better for breeding? What kind of Tank, that, Cement or Plastic or any other material you recommend? What is the size of the Tank preferable for the purpose? What are the things to be placed inside the Tank?

My I place breeding Tank in the open space in upstairs for purpose of Sunlight. If so, severe direct Sunlight will affect severely the Fish or anything in the Tank or the breeding?

After breeding and having the fry, I would like to rear the fry to the size which is worth selling. Then, what is the Tank size suitable for rearing the fry? May I keep the fry in the Tank at the same place where breeding is done, that is, in the open space in upstairs for Sunlight?

Your detailed reply will be helpful to me to do the best

there is a section on this site that talks about setting up and breeding...you should check it out..will help with most of the question you are asking. I personally used a glass 10 gal to raise my fry...the goldfish that spwaned were in the 29gal tank. I simply removed the eggs and placed them into the 10 gal.

If you place your tank in severe direct sunlight...it will cause the ater to fluctate a lot in the temperature and I dont think that will be good for the fish or fry.
