My tank is next to the window so it gets a lot sun light, so theres some spots of green algae, is this a good thing
the only reason i put it next to the window because the plants grow crazy in sun

Oh, yeah, green algae is definetely worth keeping around. Not only does it look pretty, it does actually have a few purposes.
Fish food, for once - fish like to nibble on it, and its very healthy for their digestive system. Then there is the factor that algae absorbs nitrates just like any other plant in a tank, so it does work hand in hand with your filtration system, so to speak. It also cushens any impact from bumping into glass, that is especially important if you have fish like celestials, bubble eyes and telescopes - less damage to their delicate body. It also gives off oxygen during the day, just like a plant. I assume you have an airstone in the tank, so the counter effects of absorbing oxygen at night is taken care of.
Not that it matters much, as long as you haven't a big huge mass of green algae in the tank. But a few spots here and there is definetely a start. I have seen beautiful algae covered tanks, on which only the front glass has been cleaned regularly, everything else grows just the way it comes.
