To last night I was wondering around the sales floor at work, ready to kill myself from boredome, and I spotted some new clearence tags near the fish dept! So of course I must run and check them out the thrifty aqua-holic I am.

On clearence were two tanks, about 1-1.5 gallons, ALL glass cubes (no lids) both came with lights, one with a filter. normally the filter one is 29.99, it was on clearence for $6! and the other was for $4!! I nearly died! Their GORGIOSE!!!

So I went alittle overboard... I bought 3 of the no-filter ones for my boys- Arcaro, Al and Swaps, and a filter one fir either my new betta girl, or if I need to seperate my new puff baby. Oh, and the filter one has curved glass, and is only made of 3 peices glued together! their just AMAZING!

Wow! That's an incredible deal! Glass tank, filter, and light? Wow! I've seen the little filters but never checked the price, didn't plan on getting one but now I'm getting interested in bettas. At my Petsmart, they have, a 1 gal plastic for seven dollars. I guess I will just have to look for clearance...

I definatly would! Who knows how long they'd be there? I can't beleive that all together the price would have been around $20 for four tanks, while at normal price it would have cost over $30!

Remember to put something over the top! Peanut jumped out of one of those. NOw I just keep an old mousepad over the top when I am not around.

Otherwise, that is a GREAT deal. Sheesh.

HEY I saw one for the same price at petco!!! I was SO tempted to buy it but I am low on money, my betta already has a home, and I have enough troubles to get another tank lol. So everyone go check their LFS's!

look in PetCo for the "Red Sea Nano Filter" I have one on my moms Minibow, and it works like a dream! quiet, powerfull, but doesnt suck up the fish!
