a friend of mine phoned me up this arvo because all of his fish seem to be dying.
apparently the beggin by floating upside down at the bottom of the tank, and then just die.
i dont have any test results as this person doesnt actually own testing kits, and i have been unable o go and see them yet.
does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be.
i know that sometimes it can be becausethe temp is too cold, but i got them to measure it, and it is fine. thanks guys. smile.gif

Without the readings then its hard to guess and not knowing the fish involved or the set up too.
If they go quite fast then its probably water quality. Sorry i cant be more help.

Are they floating upside down, or just kind of laying there upside down? What kind of fish are they?
tinkerbell
um, i think he said that they were all actually floating.
so far i think there has ben a khuili loac, some tetras and a shark of some kind.
i will advise him to do water changes until i ccan get the water testing results for you. smile.gif

unsure.gif Hey Tink,How long's his tank been set up? You really gotta talk him into a test kit. It's almost impossible to diagnose illness with out some help from that.Water changes are always a good start until you know something else. What size tank-how many fish?
tinkerbell
at a rough estimate, i would say that the tank was about 15gals?
i have no idea how many fish are i there now, as he looses them quite frequently and just sorta replaces them. unsure.gif
i know that the tank has been set up for about 5 months now.
i will ofcourse keep working o him to get testing kits. smile.gif
