Well my dalmation molly fry are about a month old and they are getting big, I can even see the pattern on a few of them now biggrin.gif . I posted when I saw them that I was going to see how they did in the tropical tank and good news, all 12 survived just fine in with the mollies and guppies! I think all the plant cover, large rocks and driftwood did the job for protecting them. They've moved on from hiding now to swimming around with their parents!

So, I'm thinking they'll soon be ready to go to new homes. Is there any particular age/size at which they should be moved out, does anyone know? I know they obviously have to go before they get too large and overstock the tank drastically, but I'm not tooooo sure on when.

Once you get them breeding with good water quality they will never ever stop! LOL mine had 3 batch of eggs in 2 months! Unfortunately, I couldn't keep them and put them in a larger tank. So I never bothered to get them out of there.
