My little guy makes these HUGE bubble nests while I am at work, but when I wake up in the morning, they are gone. How does that happen? Does he do it himself? Is it a bad thing?

Bubble nests mean they are very happy fish, but they fall apart if the betta decides to ignore it.

Does the fact that he decided to ignore it mean that something is wrong? Or is he just moody? And believe me, he is one moody fishy!

He might just get bored. And you can still have a happy, healthy betta that doesnt blow a bubble nest.

LOL, he looks bored all the time! When he does nest, the things are huge, they cover a quarter of the tank. Although I did notice that since I raised the water level on the tank, the tips of his favorite plant don't poke above the water level and that was where he would anchor his nest, those would never disappear, only get bigger. Should I lower the water level again?
