I'm just curious. How long do Bettas usually live for?

i read 2-3 years, but i know there is people who have kept them twice as long.

I had one live for six years, but I've also read in most places that 2-3 years is the average.

I'd say the LIFEspan of a petshop betta is 2-4 years... so you usually have them 1-3 years... (atleast from our breeder at work :/)
